Write Your Foreword

The foreword is the heart of your heirloom. It’s a personal letter from you to the one receiving the journal—a glimpse of how you see them, what you value in them, and the prayers or hopes you carry for their life. When they open the journal years from now, your words will be the first thing they read.

This doesn’t have to be perfect or polished. It simply needs to be sincere. You might share:

  • A memory that captures who they are to you

  • Why you chose this journal especially for them

  • The qualities you see in them and cherish

  • Blessings, scriptures, or prayers you’re speaking over their life

  • What you hope they’ll record within these pages

Think of it as sitting across the table from them, looking them in the eyes, and putting into words what you may not say out loud every day: “This is how I see you. This is how deeply you are loved.”

You can submit your foreword in two different ways.  below in the form field by typing your foreword in the message box, uploading a file where it says "Upload your foreword here" or you may submit your foreword by email info@stillspeakingheirloomjournals.com. Once your foreword is written, we’ll print and place it inside the journal, so your voice is waiting for them on the very first page.
